Elliot Domalewski has been named a sales associate for Avalon Realty, a full-service residential brokerage subsidiary of Avalon Group.

MOANA EVENTS

Amanda Corby has been hired as the consulting director for Moana Events. Her hiring coincides with the launch of its event and communications consulting division. Corby was previously with Special Events Hawaii.

Moana Events offers full wedding planning services, as well as event consulting services for nonprofits.

BELLA PIETRA

Bella Pietra natural stone company has hired Christopher Owens to lead the company's sales team. He will spearhead efforts to increase the firm's sales and productivity, develop training and education programs and work to improve customer service quality. Also hired was Princeton Gapas as inside sales representative.

PACIFIC WIRELESS

Jean Panoncial has been named marketing coordinator of Pacific Wireless Communications. She was previously a promotions manager at Technology News Bytes and Hawaii Pacific Entertainment.

HAWAII THEATRE CENTER

Kathy Christensen has joined the Hawaii Theatre Center development staff as information manager, responsible for the Hawaii Theatre's donor and membership databases, donor communication and membership support.

MCDONALD'S

McDonald's Restaurants of Hawaii has promoted Agnes Concepcion to manager of McDonald's Nimitz.

STATE FARM INSURANCE

State Farm Insurance has appointed as Maui agents, Paul MacDonald to the Kahului branch, Chad Santiago to the Lahaina Gateway Shopping Center office and Ryan Souza to the Kulamalu Town Center branch in Pukalani.

KIEWIT

Kiewit Building Group, a national leader in general contracting, has hired Catherine Stoupas as a project engineer. Assigned to the estimating department, she will be responsible for project management and cost estimating, as well as general and field engineering.
