The Hawaii Chapter of the American Marketing Association has set a Jan. 20 deadline to submit nominations for 2008 Marketer of the Year.

AMA Hawaii will honor the Islands' 32th Marketer of the Year at the AMA Hawaii Marketer of the Year Awards Luncheon on April at the Hawaii Convention Center.

In addition to recognizing the state's top "Marketer of the Year," which can be a person, company or organization, AMA Hawaii will recognize programs implemented by companies or organizations in the areas of nonprofit Marketing, e-marketing, and marketing of a new product or service.

Entries will be scored according to five criteria: insight, objectives, strategy, tactics and results.

This competition is open to all Hawaii-based businesses, organizations or professionals. It is not limited to AMA members. To download entry forms or to get more information, visit www.amahawaii.org.
