Skiing: Schlierenzauer wins World Cup ski jumping meet

BAD MITTERNDORF, Austria — Gregor Schlierenzauer of Austria won his second World Cup ski jumping meet in as many days on Sunday.
Schlierenzauer had jumps of 203.5 and 202 meters for a total of 393.6 points, earning him his fourth victory of the season and 15th overall.
Harri Olli of Finland was second, 3.2 points behind, and World Cup leader Simon Ammann of Switzerland was third, trailing Schlierenzauer by 11.4 points.
Thomas Morgenstern, the defending World Cup champion, was ninth, one ahead of fellow Austrian and Four Hills tournament winner Wolfgang Loitzl.
Schlierenzauer is second behind Ammann in the standings and Loitzl is third.
The next ski jumping meet is scheduled for Zakopane, Poland, on Friday and Saturday.
