Beautification work continues on Kahekili Highway this week and motorists can expect left lane closures from Kulukeoe Street to Ha'iku Road in both directions from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. today through Friday.

There also may be intermittent sidewalk closures from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.

The state is installing planter boxes in the median and vine planters along the sidewalk.

The $4.1 million project is expected to be completed Jan. 30.
