A northbound lane of Kamehameha Highway between Kilani Avenue and Karsten Thot Bridge in Wahiawa will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. today through Friday.

During construction hours, the southbound lane will be contraflowed to provide a northbound lane.

The lane closure will allow the Department of Transportation to conduct slope maintenance. Southbound traffic originating from the North Shore/Whitmore Village direction will be routed to take Kamehameha Highway to Kamananui Road, turn left onto Wilikina Drive, and proceed to Wahiawa Town or to the H-2 Freeway.

Electronic message boards will be placed in and around the construction area, and special duty officers will assist with traffic flow through the area.
