Stuff to do at library for grownups as well as kids
Kahuku Public and School Library's January calendar of events include the interests of both adults and children.
Every Wednesday, Keiki Story Time is at 10 a.m., and the After School Club is at 12:45 p.m.
The After School Club features Guitar Hero electronic musical activity on Jan. 14; and a musical film on Jan. 21, with the end of the film showing on Jan. 28.
For adults, the library hosts classes, lectures and discussions at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays: Care and Feeding of Indoor Plants on Jan. 6, book club discussion of Thomas Mann's "The Magic Mountain" on Jan. 13, Managing Stress Toward Living a Healthier Life on Jan. 20, Hawaiian Herbs on Jan. 27.
The library will be closed today and on Jan. 19 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day).
