UH football going to Maui

The University of Hawai'i football team will hold scrimmages on Maui on April 11 and at Aloha Stadium on April 25.
The Maui scrimmage will be held at War Memorial Stadium, starting at 11 a.m. An autograph session will follow.
The Aloha Stadium scrimmage, which ends spring training, will start at 3 p.m., with an autograph session at 1. Parking is $1; admission is free.
SWIMMING AND DIVING
FRIESEN SETS RECORD
University of Hawai'i diver Emma Friesen set a Western Athletic Conference record in winning the 1-meter springboard for the third consecutive year at the conference swimming and diving championships yesterday in San Antonio, Texas.
Friesen scored 338.40 points as the 'Bows stood in third place with 183 points after the second day of competition.
UH's Elliko Heimbach won the 50-yard freestyle in 23.16 seconds and helped the 200 freestyle relay team — which also included Karli Rice, Victoria Tan and Maura Barrett — win in 1:32.91.
UH's Emma Berry placed third in the 500 freestyle in 4:59.68.
Northern Arizona (245) leads the nine-team field with Nevada (211) in second.
In Houston, the UH men's team stayed in second at the Conference USA Swimming and Diving Championships.
Three 'Bows placed in the top eight of the 50-yard freestyle final, including a third-place finish by Horativ Anastasescu in 20.28 seconds.
Southern Methodist leads the five-team field with 320 points. UH has 244.5.
SPEED CLINIC
BRENNAN MAY APPEAR
Colt Brennan is expected to make a guest appearance at this weekend's Hawai'i Speed and Quickness clinics.
Sessions are 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. tomorrow and Sunday in UH's Klum Gym.
Each session is $10, and is open to all ages.
