The Hawai'i Women's Legal Foundation is seeking applications for its spring 2009 grants program.

Grant applications are due March 9.

The foundation typically awards grants of $500 to $5,000, and is most interested in supporting individual projects or providing start-up funds, rather than operational expenses.

The foundation is dedicated to helping women and children.
