Photographic innovator to visit University of Hawaii
Photographer Patrick Nagatani, whose work has been described as "full of color, mutiple layers, wonder and whimsy," will be in residence at the University of Hawai'i Department of Art and Art History March 8-19.
On March 11 at 6 p.m., Nagatani will give a free public lecture in the UH Manoa Art Building Auditorium.
Nagatani is a professor emeritus of photography at the University of New Mexico and has shown his work extensively. The UNM Art Museum plans a retrospective of his work this autumn.
