Hawaii soldier dies in Kuwait; 3 others seriously injured

A 19-year-old soldier from the Hawaii National Guard was killed in a noncombat-related vehicular accident in Kuwait, the Pentagon says.
Three other Hawaii Army National Guard soldiers were seriously injured in the accident, which occurred Thursday, the state's Department of Defense said in a news release.
Spec. Cwislyn K. Walter, of Honolulu, died Thursday in Kuwait City. She was assigned to the 29th Special Troops Battalion, 29th Infantry Brigade Combat Team of the Hawaii National Guard.
She was a 2007 graduate of Farrington High School.
The military says the circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
