Arizona leads Burns Intercollegiate; UH golf team 14th

Arizona will take a six-shot lead into tomorrow's final round, while Hawai'i remained 14th after the second round of the John A. Burns Intercollegiate today at Leilehua Golf Course.
Arizona is a 20-under 556 (best four scores) after a 280 today. New Mexico is second at 285-562, followed by Texas A&M (278-564), Nevada (281-565) and Arkansas (286-566). The Warriors shot a 294-586 in the 17-team tournament.
Tarquin Macmanus of Arizona shot a 2-under-par 70 and had a two-stroke lead at 10-under 134. Jordan Hammer of BYU shot a 70-136, while James Kwon of SMU was third after a 70-137.
UH junior Robert Berton and sophomore Kamden Brakel each shot 72, the best score by the Warriors. Berton is tied for 25th at 142, while Brakel is tied for 61st at 148.
