There will be alternating lane closures on Fort Weaver Road northbound between Cane Haul Bridge and 'A'awa Drive from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today through Wednesday, and again Friday.

During construction hours, one southbound lane will be contraflowed to provide an additional northbound lane.

The closure will allow the Department of Transportation to resurface the road.

On Thursday, the left lane on Fort Weaver southbound between Laulaunui Street and Old Fort Weaver Road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. for construction of concrete curbs in the median.

Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the work areas and to allow for extra travel time. Roadwork is weather-permitting.
