First Friday in Chinatown is still on for New Year’s Day.

The Arts District Merchant Association said the city mistakenly posted signs at bus stops on Hotel Street that said First Friday will be canceled because of the holiday.
“First Friday has not been canceled,” said MarshaRose Joyner, coordinator for the association, in a news release. “First Friday is on.”
