IRVING, Texas — This massive demolition of a Texas icon is brought to you by Kraft Macaroni & Cheese.

That could become a true statement Thursday when Irving officials vote on a contract making Kraft Foods the official sponsor of the scheduled March implosion of Texas Stadium.

The famed stadium was home of the Dallas Cowboys until they moved into their swanky new Arlington stadium this season.

Mayor Herbert Gears says Kraft's advertising campaign is expected to bring in more than $1 million worth of national exposure to Irving.

A Kraft official says the company's excited about the deal, but the won't talk about its plans until after the deal is done.
