Hawaii Development Consultants pleads guilty to tax charges
The state Tax Department said Hawaii Development Consultants Inc. and its president, Stanforde K. Sagum, have pled guilty to not filing annual general excise tax returns for three years.
The department said Hawaii Development was ordered to pay restitution totaling $31,415, while Sagum was assessed a $6,000 fine. It said the company failed to file returns for the years 2005 to 2007.
