SHOE STORE DEUCES OPENS TODAY IN WARD CENTRE
Some folks just can't get enough shoes. Darcie Pulawa is one of them. She loves shoes so much that in November she decided to open an online shoe store, a sort of Zappos for Hawai'i.
It's called Deuces, and it has been so successful that Darcie and her partner (and brother) Benji Pulawa are opening a brick-and-mortar store in Ward Centre today. The 742-square-foot store will house hundreds of pairs of shoes for men and women at prices from $20 to $300, from lines such as Heydays, Madelines, Keep, Irregular Choice and A&G.
"We found a market we thought would be good in Hawai'i. Shoes from all over the world at different price points," said Benji Pulawa.
