Mayor headed to D.C.

Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann will be in Washington, D.C., on Monday to meet with the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, as well as other federal officials about Honolulu’s rail transit project, city spokesman Bill Brennan said.
The mayor will also attend the White House holiday reception hosted by President Obama.
Hannemann will return to Honolulu on Tuesday, Brennan said.
