Human remains found on Diamond Head autopsied
Police are investigating the discovery Monday of human remains on the slopes of Diamond Head near 22nd Avenue.
Police said a hiker discovered the remains about 7:15 a.m.
Police said the remains were in an advance state of decomposition, suggesting the person died more than a month ago.
There were no obvious signs of foul play, police said.
The city medical examiner's office conducted an autopsy yesterday. Results of the autopsy were not yet available, an official said.
