Notes: Woods withdrew Monday, citing injuries from a car crash near his Florida home. Woods sustained cuts and bruises when he crashed his SUV into a fire hydrant and a tree at 2:25 a.m. Friday, outside his home. He was treated at a hospital and released. The tournament benefits the Tiger Woods Foundation. ... McDowell took Woods' spot in the field. Earlier, Leonard replaced Singh (knee surgery). ... Westwood made $2.75 million two weeks ago in the Dubai World Championship, winning the European tour finale to take the Race to Dubai money title. The Englishman finished with course-record 64 for a six-stroke victory. He earned $1.25 million for the win and $1.5 million from the bonus pool. ... McDowell and Irish partner Rory McIlroy tied for second Sunday in the World Cup in China, a stroke behind Italian brothers Francesco and Edoardo Molinari. ... Poulter is playing for the sixth straight week. He began the run with a victory in Singapore, tied for 45th in China in the HSBC Champions, tied for fifth in Hong Kong, tied for ninth in Dubai, then returned to China to finish fourth in the World Cup with English partner Ross Fisher. ... Weir was inducted into the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame on Saturday night at Huron Oaks, the Ontario course where he learned to play. ... Jack Nicklaus-designed Sherwood is at the base of the Santa Monica Mountains. Douglas Fairbanks' 1922 silent "Robin Hood" was shot on the scenic property, leading to the Sherwood name. ... The 18th-place finisher will get $150,000.
