A 48-year-old Waianae man was arrested yesterday after he allegedly began beating on his neighbor’s door with a metal pipe, saying he wanted to kill him.

The neighbor, 28, said he awoke to the sound of the pipe banging on the door.
Police were called to a home on Puuhulu Road and arrested the suspect on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening, fourth-degree criminal property damage and for four contempt of court warrants stemming from other matters.
