That summer is winding down makes us sigh gently, but here, a last hurrah: The Outrigger Reef on the Beach is screening the movie "The Ride" free on Thursday at 8:15 p.m., and it's poolside. (You can watch from the pool! Or not.) The award-winning movie is about a modern day surfer who wipes out and ends up on Waikiki Beach with Duke Kahanamoku (above) in 1911. More about this and other end-of-summer "feel good" events at On The Cheap!
