Tropical Storm Hilda on track well south of Hawaii

The center of Tropical Storm Hilda was about 585 miles southeast of Hilo and about 795 miles east-southeast of Honolulu at 11 p.m. today, according to the Central Pacific Hurricane Center.
Hilda is moving west near 9 mph and will continue to do slow over the next couple of days. The tropical storm, however, is well south of Hawaii.
Maximum sustained winds are near 60 mph with higher gusts. Slow intensification is expected over the next couple of days and Hilda is expected to become a hurricane by Thursday.
Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 75 miles from the center.
The next advisory will be issued at 5 a.m. Tuesday
