Preps: Tennessee football player untouched on play he died on

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A high school football player who died during a game in Knoxville was untouched on the play before he collapsed on the field.
Eighteen-year-old Jack Logue, a senior at Sullivan South High School, was unresponsive after the third-quarter play Friday evening play, and was later pronounced dead at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. The game was called off.
Logue was a linebacker and co-captain of the team playing its season opener at West High School.
Coach Stacy Carter tells The Knoxville News Sentinel that the Sullivan South team — and especially its 22 seniors — are "taking it very hard."
