The Junior Hawaii Sand Soccer Championships, featuring 50 teams and more than 500 players, will be held Sunday at Fort DeRussy Beach.

The event will feature novice through experienced soccer enthusiasts from U13 to adult and a junior tournament for U8 to U12.
Competition will be five on a side in various age groups and will go from 7 a.m. to about 6 p.m.
