MLB: Rolen scratched from lineup

SAN FRANCISCO — Reds third baseman Scott Rolen has been scratched from Saturday's starting lineup against the San Francisco Giants because he is experiencing concussion-like symptoms.
He will be examined in Cincinnati on Sunday.
Rolen was acquired from the Toronto Blue Jays just before the trade deadline for pitching prospects Josh Roenicke and Zach Stewart, and infielder Edwin Encarnacion.
Rolen, who is signed through 2010, was hitting .143 (2 for 14) with a home run and two RBIs in four games with the Reds after hitting .320 with the Blue Jays.
Adam Rosales replaced Rolen in the lineup.
