Hot rod enthusiasts and other car lovers are holding a Hot Rods for a Cause car show at Kalaeloa Airport from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday as a fundraiser for the Domestic Violence Action Center.

The free event takes place at Kalaeloa Airport between Hangars 110 and 111 at Kalaeloa, the former Barbers Point Naval Air Station.

Besides a car show expected to draw hundreds of vehicles, there will be food, live entertainment and lucky-number drawings. Event organizers are hoping to offer awareness and education on the issue of domestic violence. Donations received will help support the Domestic Violence Action Center.
