'Iolani in ILH baseball final

Four 'Iolani pitchers combined to limit visiting Punahou to five hits yesterday, helping the Raiders win, 6-3, and advance to tomorrow's Interscholastic League of Honolulu baseball tourney final against Kamehameha.
The game will be played at 3:45 p.m. at 'Iolani. Kamehameha (15-3 in ILH play) is unbeaten in the double-elimination tournament and can win the tourney with a victory; if the Raiders (17-3) win, the teams will meet again Friday for the tournament title.
Both teams have clinched state tournament berths.
Punahou (10-8) will play Mid-Pacific (11-6) at Ala Wai Field at 3:45 p.m. tomorrow for the league's third berth.
Trent Miyashiro, Michael Diebold, Brett Watanabe and Breland Almadova combined to limit Punahou to five hits yesterday. Jensen Park had a double and two RBIs as 'Iolani overcame a 2-0 deficit by scoring three runs in the bottom of the first inning and added a run in the second for a 4-2 lead.
The Buffanblu closed it to 4-3 in the fourth, but the Raiders scored two insurance runs in the sixth.

Kamehameha scored in sudden-death overtime last night to defeat 'Iolani, 7-6, and earn the ILH's second state tournament berth.
Nanea Fujimoto scored three goals to lead the Warriors. Skye Kusao led the Raiders with three goals.
