BILLINGS, Mont. — A 6-foot-2 guard from the University of Hawaii has signed a letter of intent to play basketball for Montana State-Billings.
Lasha Parghalava, of the Georgia Republic, played his last season at Hawaii, where he averaged 7.6 points per game. He led the team in free throw percentage, going 50-of-61 from the line, and hit a team-high 31 3-pointers.
Parghalava is the third Division I transfer to sign with MSUB since coach George Pfeifer arrived in July. He will have one year of eligibility with the Yellowjackets.
