Trump Hotel Collection has named Scott Ingwers as managing director of the Trump International Hotel & Tower Waikiki Beach Walk slated to open later this year.

Ingwers most recently was manager of The Fairmont Kea Lani hotel on Maui, and has 20 years of experience in luxury resort management, Trump Hotel said in a statement.

Prior to his position at Kea Lani, Ingwers was general manager for the Maui Prince Hotel and Makena golf courses. He has also held leadership positions at Hyatt and Renaissance hotels, as well as Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas.

Over the coming months, Ingwers will help assemble the senior management team and training program for the 464-unit hotel condominium, which is slated to open in September.
