Army Community Theatre concludes its 2008-2009 season of Readers' Theatre productions with Walt Whitman's "Leaves of Grass," scripted and directed by Anne Marie MacPherson, produced by Vanita Rae Smith.

The free readings are Sundays at 2 p.m. May 10, 17 and 24 at Richardson Theatre, Ft. Shafter.

According to the director, "Walt Whitman intended his life-long work to be heard as hymns and chants, so Readers' Theatre is a perfect modality to share this literary classic. 

Cast members are Gerald Altwies, Richard MacPherson, Jan McGrath, Richard Pellett and Tracy Yamamoto.
