Diagnostic Laboratory Services Inc. has announced that Dr. James Navin has joined the firm as a pathologist/consultant. Navin is largely credited with ensuring that women in Hawai'i and on the Mainland get regular PAP tests; he has led the lobbying effort to align insurance payments with the actual cost of the now-required test for cervical cancer.

PACIFIC WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS

Dale Mau has been promoted to senior vice president and general operations manager of Pacific Wireless Communications. He will oversee the firm's statewide operations of sales, service, infrastructure construction, engineering, managed services and marketing departments.
