A woman is suing ABC and "Lost" actor Henry Ian Cusick, claiming she was sexually harassed and then fired from the hit show.
The woman filed the lawsuit yesterday in Los Angeles, alleging Cusick, who plays Desmond Hume on the show, fondled her buttocks and breasts and kissed her on the lips in October 2007. The lawsuit claims she reported the incident to her supervisor, but was simply told to avoid the actor. She states she was fired 12 days later in retaliation for reporting the alleged abuse.
The filing says the woman had worked for ABC since 1997. She claims she suffered physical sickness, emotional distress and a miscarriage after the incident.
The lawsuit does not state how much she is seeking. Messages left for an ABC spokesman and Cusick's manager were not immediately returned.
LENO OUT OF HOSPITAL, READY TO WORK
NBC and a spokesman for Jay Leno say the "Tonight" host is out of the hospital after an overnight stay.
Leno had checked himself into the hospital Thursday after feeling sick.
His publicist provided no details of the illness but said doctors concluded that it wasn't "symptomatic of anything serious" and he was released yesterday.
NBC said the 58-year-old comedian was feeling much better and was "anxious to return to work Monday."
Leno's Thursday and Friday shows were canceled, with reruns taking their place. It was the first time Leno, who took over "Tonight" in 1992, has missed a show because of illness.
RIHANNA NEEDS LOANED JEWELRY BACK
Rihanna is seeking the return of $1.4 million in jewelry she was wearing the night she was allegedly beaten by Chris Brown.
An attorney for the "Umbrella" singer filed a motion Tuesday asking that Los Angeles police and prosecutors return a pair of earrings and three rings, which were seized as evidence. The filing indicates the jewelry was loaned to the singer by four companies, which want the items back.
NIMOY WILLING TO PUT SPOCK EARS BACK ON
Leonard Nimoy says he would be on board for more "Star Trek."
After a 19-year absence, Nimoy reprises his iconic role as Spock in director J.J. Abrams' new "Star Trek" prequel opposite Zachary Quinto, who stars as a younger version of the half-Vulcan science officer.
Paramount Pictures is already preparing a sequel to the sci-fi franchise reboot set to premiere May 8.
"If J.J. Abrams calls me, I answer the phone," Nimoy said during a recent interview. "I don't say 'never' anymore."
