This one's for the adults, but kids may enjoy watching older friends and parents dress up for the Laughtrack Theater Company's "Thrift Store Prom — Recession Approved."

All you have to do is go to a thrift shop and find an outfit for less than $25 (no cheating!).

Grab your ID to prove you're 21 and head over to the theater for the prom you wish you had, including spiked punch, bottomless drinks, prizes and music, of course. Primp before you enter because prom photos will be taken as you walk in.

The $20 entrance fee includes mayhem from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. and beverages, and a portion of the proceeds will go to The ARTS at Marks Garage.
