CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Bengals have signed fullback Jeremi Johnson, a regular for five seasons before sitting out last season with an injury.
Terms were not released.
Johnson injured his knee in preseason practice and was placed on injured reserve. He was waived Nov. 26 when he completed rehab, making him a free agent.
Johnson, a fourth-round pick in the 2003 draft, has been used primarily as a blocker. He has caught 55 passes for 269 yards and six touchdowns, and has rushed 48 times for 141 yards and two touchdowns.
