Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii is conducting "The Garage Sale" fundraiser Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ala Wai Elementary School.

There will be crafts, clothing, collector's items and items donated by celebrities and local businesses. Hot dogs and popcorn will be offered for sale and life-size costume characters will entertain the children. Justin Cruz will be the emcee for the morning.

The sale is one of a month-long series of events to observe Child Abuse Prevention Month in April.
