Hawaii Self Storage has promoted Joe Kino from outside sales to office manager of its Kapolei store. He will oversee sales, marketing, and personnel and property management at the firm's Kapolei site.

PBR HAWAII & Associates Inc., a land and environmental planning and landscape architectural firm, has hired Roy Takemoto as managing director of its Hilo Office. He was project manager for the Four Seasons Wailea's construction and was deputy director to Mayor Harry Kim.
