The Hornets took the lead in the fourth. Aaron Crouch led off with a single to right, took second on Justin Lamb's sacrifice, remained there when Brent Hottman struck out and scored on Hunter Martinez's single to right to give the Hornets a 2-1 lead. Martinez took second on the throw home.
