Kentucky Derby: Pioneerof the Nile, Chocolate Candy at Churchill

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Kentucky Derby contenders Pioneerof the Nile and Chocolate Candy are at Churchill Downs to prepare for next month's Run for the Roses.
Both California-based horses arrived Thursday afternoon.
Pioneerof the Nile, winner of the Santa Anita Derby for trainer Bob Baffert, is stabled at Barn 42. Baffert is expected to arrive in Louisville on Friday.
Chocolate Candy, winner of the El Camino Real Derby for trainer Jerry Hollendorfer, is stabled at Barn 33.
Ten possible Derby starters are already on the grounds at Churchill Downs, which expects a full field of 20 for the race.
