A man who died in a single-vehicle accident on Kaukonahua Road on Tuesday has been identified as Orrin Pollock, 76, of Waialua, the city medical examiner's office said.

The crash was reported about 11 a.m. in the S-curves area of the road. Kaukonahua Road was closed between Wilikina Drive and Thompson Corner while police investigated.

Several fire companies were called to the scene to help remove Pollock from the white pickup truck he was driving, police said.

On March 29, Brittany Durchuk, 27, of 'Ewa Beach, was killed when she lost control of her Honda motorcycle and crashed on the same stretch of road.
