Police today arrested a 33-year-old man in Kaka'ako suspected of two armed robberies.

The man was arrested at 9:25 a.m. at his residence on the 1200 block of Kamaile Street for investigation of holdups on Aug. 18 and Sept. 11. A knife was displayed in both holdups.

Police said the suspect was identified after a search warrant on an unoccupied car recovered Aug. 23 produced evidence, including the alleged knife used in the Aug. 18 robbery.
