Kalani will forfeit its O'ahu Interscholastic Association varsity football game against 'Aiea on Saturday due to a lack of eligible and healthy players, Falcons coach Greg Taguchi said yesterday.

It is Kalani's third forfeit of the season.

Taguchi said when the semi-weekly grade checks were reported Monday, six of his 25 players were declared ineligible. Another two players cannot play due to injury, leaving the Falcons with just 17 players.

"That's if we stay healthy (in practice)," Taguchi said.
