Church leaders, community service organizations to network at event

"A Partnership of Compassion for the Community," a free conference for faith leaders and others interested in networking for community service organizations, will be 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at Hope Chapel Kaneohe.
Participants will be able to learn what community services are available and how to access them; and churches will discuss ways to strengthen outreach ministries and services.
Lt. Gov. James "Duke" Aiona will speak. Refreshments and lunch will be served.
