THE LBD IS WHAT YOU NEED FOR THE MANOA JAZZ FESTIVAL
Black dresses up Hawaii jazz fest
| Everything you need to know for the Manoa Jazz Festival |

What to wear to a cool jazz festival when it's hot outside but you want to be haute? We've got you covered. The LBD (little black dress) is always right, and it's back for fall, along with sculptural shapes, art deco prints, berry colors, fabulous hosiery, zippers in unexpected places, gold accessories and, of course, the statement shoe.
We asked musicians from the opening acts for the First Manoa Jazz Festival, the Honolulu Jazz Quartet and the Noel Okimoto 'Ohana, to get our models in the mood to groove.
Bass player John Kolivas, drummer Noel Okimoto and saxophonist Tim Tsukiyama were happy to oblige by jamming at the Andrews Amphitheatre.
