Surf: South shore should be 3 to 6 feet today

Advertiser Staff

Surf along the south-facing shores of O'ahu is on the way down, but should still be 3 to 6 feet today, the National Weather Service said.

Surf along west-facing shores is also on the wane and will be 1 to 3 feet today, forecasters said.

Elsewhere today, look for surf of 2 to 3 feet along north-facing shores and 3 to 5 feet along east-facing shores.

Outlook through Monday, Sept. 15: The current southeast swell will gradually diminish during the next few days. This swell will continue to produce small to moderate surf along south- and exposed east-facing beaches. A short-period northeast swell will continue to provide small surf along exposed east- and north facing shores during the next few days.
