Yoga takes center stage at fundraiser

A Yoga Marathon for Peace fundraiser set for 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 21 at Hawaii Tokai International College will feature a day of yoga practice, sun salutations, mantra and meditation, as well as performances by the Institute for Human Services' kids yoga classes and the kids of Uke N8ture.
Participants are encouraged to collect pledges to cover the $108 attendance fee. Eighty percent of the proceeds will go to the Institute for Human Services and Hawaii Helping the Hungry Have Hope.
