Esera, Uperesa on Colts' practice squad; Winnipeg signs Chang

The Indianapolis Colts signed former University of Hawai'i offensive linemen Tala Esera and Dane Uperesa to the team's practice squad today.
Two other Warriors were signed to practice squads. Wide receiver C.J. Hawthorne was signed by the Buffalo Bills and defensive lineman Melila Purcell by the Cleveland Browns.
Esera was re-signed after being cut by the Colts on Saturday.
Uperesa was cut by Cincinnati also on Saturday, the deadline for teams to reach the 53-man active roster. He signed with the Bengals as a rookie free agent in 2007.
Also, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League announced the signing of former UH quarterback Tim Chang.
Chang previously played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, also of the CFL.
