Surf: Big south swell should be here by tomorrow

Surf along the south-, north- and east-facing shores of O'ahu is expected to be 2 to 4 feet today, the National Weather Service said.
South shore surf may rise to 5 feet by later this afternoon, forecasters said.
Surf along west-facing shores is expected to start out about 1 to 3 feet this morning and rise to 2 to 5 feet by later this afternoon.
Outlook through Monday, Sept. 8: A large south swell will peak late Thursday and Friday with surf above the high surf advisory level of 8 feet for south facing shores. Surf will likely drop below advisory level by Sunday.
