Surf: North Shore tops the list at 6 to 8 feet

Advertiser Staff

Surf along north-facing shores of Oahu will be to 6 to 8 feet through today, according to the National Weather Service surf report.

Elsewhere, look for surf of 4 to 6 feet along east-facing shores, and 1 to 3 feet along south- and west-facing shores.

Outlook through Wednesday, Nov. 5: Surf from the current north-northeast swell has dropped below the 8 foot advisory threshold for east-facing shores.

Northerly swell should maintain small to moderate surf along north-facing shores this weekend.

Another northwest swell will begin to fill in Monday night and produce small surf Tuesday and Wednesday. This will be overlapped by yet another northwest swell currently set to arrive late Wednesday night, which could provide moderate to near high surf into next Thursday.

South-facing shores will see generally small surf through Monday. A fresh southern hemisphere swell will arrive next Tuesday, providing a slight upward trend in surf heights along south-facing shores for mid week.
