NFL: Lions work out quarterback Daunte Culpepper

ALLEN PARK, Mich. — The Detroit Lions worked out quarterback Daunte Culpepper and liked how he looked.
As of Wednesday, that's all the team wants to say.
Lions coach Rod Marinelli said Culpepper moved well during his workout on Tuesday, when other free agents also visited with the team, but Marinelli declined to go into detail about the team's interest in the three-time Pro Bowler.
An e-mail seeking comment was sent to Culpepper, who was a star for the Minnesota Vikings and a lackluster player for the Miami Dolphins and Oakland Raiders after injuring his right knee.
The winless Lions put quarterback Jon Kitna on injured reserve earlier this season and have started Dan Orlovsky the past three games. Drew Stanton and Drew Henson are also on the roster.
