3 arrested in violent Pearl City confrontation

Three men were arrested by police early today at Pearl City Industrial Park in Manana for investigation of attempted second-degree murder, first-degree terroristic threatening and first-degree criminal property damage.
The trio were arrested at 3:50 a.m. at Waihona Street and Kamehameha Highway and booked at the Pearl City police station. They were awaiting transport at 6 p.m. to the main police cellblock.
A Ma'ili man, 20, is facing an attempted-murder charge for allegedly driving a vehicle at a man, 51. The suspect is also booked on two counts of first-degree criminal property damage and petty misdemeanor harassment.
A Pearl City man, 19, who allegedly pointed a black pistol at the head of a 47-year-old woman and threatened to shoot her was arrested first-degree terroristic threatening, two counts of first-degree criminal property damage and possession of a prohibited replica gun.
The third suspect, 19, of Kalihi was arrested for two counts of first- and and one count of third-degree criminal property damage.
The three men in two separate vehicles allegedly confronted a man, 27, who had driven to the workplace of the 51-year-old male victim, police said. The suspects allegedly pounded and kicked the 27-year-old man's vehicle after he refused their demand to get out of his vehicle.
The victim drove away and the suspects allegedly threw bottles at his vehicle, damaging the front windshield, police said. The victim was unable to get out of the industrial park area and parked his vehicle in driveway of the 51-year-old man's workplace.
The suspect vehicles drove by and the Ma'ili man allegedly made a U-turn and drove his vehicle at the 51-year-old victim standing in the roadway. The victim jumped out of the way and was not injured.
The three suspects then confronted the 27-year-old victim hiding in his vehicle in the driveway. They allegedly threw bottles, causing front and rear windshield damages to the vehicle of the woman victim.
The three were arrested by police near the scene.
The male victim, 27, was suffered cuts of his arm and neck from broken glass but refused treatment.
Police did not disclose what caused the confrontation.
